Holding an M.A. in Law, he is affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/instytut\/ij\">Institute of Linguistics<\/a>, Faculty of Humanities. His PhD project is entitled <em>A<em> corpus-assisted discourse study of concept creep: Semantic shifts in social media discourse<\/em><\/em>. It examines the sociolinguistic implications of concept creep, the semantic extensions of medical terminology as used by social media users in non-prototypical contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;His research interests include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>concept creep,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical English,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discourse analysis,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>languages for specific purposes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pragmatics,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication studies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>corpus linguistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He serves as Vice-President of the <a href=\"https:\/\/neolinguists.us.edu.pl\/\">NEOlinguists<\/a> research group and is a member of the DIGESPEDI research team at the Faculty of Humanities in Sosnowiec. Additionally, he is a member of Ko\u0142o Naukowe Doktorant\u00f3w J\u0119zykoznawstwa \u2013 Linguistics PhD Students\u2019 Research Group. In 2025, he published the article \u201cExternal Lexical Influences in the English Language from Antiquity to Modern Times\u201d in <em>Rozprawy J\u0119zykoznawcze<\/em>, a linguistic journal of Jan D\u0142ugosz University in Cz\u0119stochowa. In the same year, he presented a paper titlted <em>Zewn\u0119trzne wp\u0142ywy leksykalne na j\u0119zyk angielski<\/em> [External lexical influences on English] at the <em>XIII Mi\u0119dzynarodowa Konferencja Magistrant\u00f3w<\/em> [13<sup>th<\/sup> International MA Students\u2019 Conference].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"
