{"id":677,"date":"2026-05-13T11:43:01","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T09:43:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digespedi.us.edu.pl\/?p=677"},"modified":"2026-05-13T11:43:01","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T09:43:01","slug":"new-article-on-humour-in-twitter-posts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digespedi.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/2026\/05\/13\/new-article-on-humour-in-twitter-posts\/","title":{"rendered":"New article on humour in Twitter posts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce that our members, <a href=\"https:\/\/digespedi.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/agnieszka-ziora\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"64\">Agnieszka Ziora<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/digespedi.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/dominik-gegotek\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"162\">Dominik G\u0119gotek<\/a> have recently published an article titled <em><strong>Analysis of the Humour in Advertisements in Discord\u2019s Posts on Twitter<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article examines the types of <strong>humour<\/strong> used in Discord&#8217;s posts on <strong>Twitter\/X<\/strong>. First, humour is introduced and briefly described. Then, the article discusses the general usage of humour for <strong>advertising<\/strong>. The corpus built for the study includes 62 multimodal posts from the company&#8217;s Twitter account. The type of humour used in the posts is discussed and a short description of all quantitative data gathered is provided to allow for comparison with similar studies.
